I am working on SharePoint 2007 Migration at work. I just added Tiff iFilter from Open Text, Inc. which acquired Captaris, Inc. not long ago. I encountered problems during crawling for for full in order t execute the search within Tiff File and I sent an email to Open Text. They sent me an email back to me and asking me to pay 178.00 for technical support after I purchase their product for 500.00!!!!! If anyone has any experience in Tiff iFilter, please let me know!!!!!!!
